Depending on your destination and preference, you’ll stay with a carefully-selected EF Homestay host and another international EF student in a twin room, with single stay options available. Or in a comfortable EF Residence or EF Campus Living.

Rooms are assigned based on gender and age. For the comfort of our students who don’t identify as male or female, we offer various single room options.

Plans can change — if you cancel at least 60 days before your course, we’ll refund 80% of the course fee. See our flexible 

70% of our students add this for additional peace of mind. With cancellation protection, EF will refund your course fees if you have to cancel your trip because of a personal illness or the illness of an immediate family member. In all cases, a medical certificate must be submitted within 10 days of the cancellation. It’s a one-time payment that gives you flexible cancellation protection up until you depart.

Courses start on Mondays and finish on Fridays. To help you settle in and travel with ease, accommodation is included from the day before your course begins until the day after it ends.

If you're traveling during high season you'll see a small extra fee added to your final price. Dates without this fee can be found by selecting Mondays without a highlight in the calendar.

How does the monthly payment plan work?


Your registration fee is due today to book. This includes your enrollment fee and, if selected, the cost of your cancellation protection.

Your balance is split into equal payments that are automatically deducted. Your first payment is charged 7 days after booking, and the remaining installments follow monthly. The final payment is taken at least 30 days before you depart for your course.

You can still make changes to your booking after payment. We’re here to help you with any questions or requests.

Travel insurance is mandatory for all students. Through our partner Erika Insurance Ltd., EF includes comprehensive travel insurance designed for our students. It covers illness, accident, repatriation, program interruption, theft, delay, and liability.

You can request to opt out from the insurance provided after booking if you prefer to use your own. However, there are specific requirements and deadlines to do so. Speak to your EF Study Advisor for more information.
